About Me

Ms. Sruthy Raju is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at St. Aloysius Degree College, Bengaluru. She holds M.A., B.Ed., NET, GATE, and SET qualifications and has six years of teaching experience in higher education. She is passionate about English language teaching and literary studies, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students. Her academic interests include English Literature, Literary Theory, Cultural Studies, Feminist Literature, Postcolonial Studies, and Language Teaching. She has presented research papers at national conferences and seminars on classic English literature and actively participates in faculty development programmes, workshops, and academic conferences to stay abreast of emerging trends in teaching, research, and literary scholarship. She believes in creating an engaging, inclusive, and learner-centred classroom that inspires students to develop analytical thinking and a lifelong appreciation for literature.
